“Making Pittsburgh a great community to live in and thrive” is the museum’s motto. Completely rebuilt as a museum/community effort, Buhl Community Park at Allegheny Square made its debut in June 2012. It went from 70% concrete to 70% grass and plantings. The museum raised $6.1 for the renovation and to establish a permanent endowment.
