Team Austria entry – U.S. Solar Decathlon 2013

Despite the government shutdown, the U.S. Solar Decathlon will go on as planned. Twenty  student teams from the US and around the world have been working for two years to plan, design and build solar-powered houses in competition for the top prize.

Competitors include teams from the U.S., Austria, Czech Republic and Canada onsite in
Irvine, California. Homes are under construction and ready to start the competition —

For all the teams of U.S. Solar Decathlon 2013, this is their moment in the sun — literally.

Green News Update will be adding updates and coverage for the duration – Oct 3-13. Public hours to visit the houses and view the teams – Oct 3-6 and Oct 10-13.
