Great Backyard Bird Count: Results are in!

The Great Backyard Bird Count just had another record-breaking year. People in 135 countries participated in the four-day count – Feb 14-17 – and observed a total of 4, 296 bird species. India came out on top in species observed–  819 species. Go to the resources at the end of this story to find out why the bird counts are important and what they mean.
